News Media Europe joins the European Internet Forum – EIF

Today News Media Europe (NME) joined the European Internet Forum (EIF) as associate member as NME’s membership application was accepted by EIF’s Steering Committee.

Through its membership, NME will be involved in EIF’s aims to help provide European political leadership for the development of European and multilateral public policies responsive to the political, economic and social challenges of the worldwide digital transformation.

Wout van Wijk, Executive Director of NME, said: “We look forward to working with EIF’s membership and addressing digital issues underpinning the news media industry”.
